Free resources for parents, teachers and other educational professionals

Resources in the MULTILIT Toolbox are made available to parents and teachers to assist in the development of reading skills of low-progress readers. The resources listed below are provided free of charge by MULTILIT. Kindly observe the conditions of use specified for each toolbox item.

You must have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view some of the content in this section. The reader is available free from the Adobe web site.

	MULTILIT Sound Prompt Cards	Use the MULTILIT Sound Prompt Cards to check the sound each letter of the alphabet makes.
	MULTILIT Reinforced Reading 100 Word Sample Option 1 Option 2	Use the MULTILIT Reinforced Reading 100 Word Sample to assist in selecting books at the right level of difficulty for your child or student. Instructions for choosing the right book when using the MULTILIT Reinforced Reading procedures are also included. Two downloadable options are available. Both can be printed and stapled for use as a booklet. Option 1 uses more ink than the other.
	MULTILIT Reinforced Reading Reading Diary Option 1 Option 2	Use the MULTILIT Reinforced Reading Diary to keep track of your child’s (or student’s) reading sessions. Good record keeping makes it easier for more than one person to be involved in the sessions and helps you keep track of progress. A summary of the procedures in MULTILIT Reinforced Reading is also included for easy reference. Two downloadable options are available. Both can be printed and stapled for use as a booklet. Option 1 uses more ink than the other.
	MULTILIT Book Levels	Use the MULTILIT Book Levels to guide your choice of books for your low-progress reader. MULTILIT Book Levels reduce some of the "guesswork" associated with finding the right book by providing a list of books for each level from which you may choose.
	MULTILIT 1-Minute Reading Test	Use this test to gain a rough idea of whether your child might be a low-progress reader or not.
