CTG Professional Development Workshop
This new videoconference workshop is offered over 2 afterschool sessions over 2 weeks (2 x 2hrs). This workshop is offered to CTG schools teaching InitiaLit.
Participants will strengthen knowledge and skills in the collection and use of InitiaLit data to teach for student success.
Participants consider how to differentiate based on students’ needs whilst maintaining the instructional integrity of InitiaLit. We will review the purpose and use of the InitiaLit assessments. This includes clarification on how to administer the Screener, Progress Monitoring and Cumulative Review assessments. The use of the Class Record is also addressed. Participants will consolidate knowledge by using scenarios and sample data to make instructional decisions.
