Fiona is a trained teacher and special educator with a particular interest in beginning and remedial reading instruction. She has worked in a variety of settings teaching low progress readers and also in mainstream schools supporting students with a range of disabilities. 

Fiona has been involved in the research and development of effective literacy instruction programs and likes to focus on early remediation.
