Kate Monteath (Glenn)

School Partnerships Manager, BScBA

Kate completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Arts (Government and International Relations, Italian Studies) at the University of Sydney.

She has a background in psychology research, having worked at the Department of Cognitive Science at Macquarie University, with which MultiLit continues to maintain close links. Kate was a member of several research teams, predominantly investigating literacy. Her research role gave her a wealth of practical experience in administering reading assessments to children, and she was also involved in the publication of various reading assessments on the Macquarie Online Testing Interface (MOTIf). Kate has a great deal of experience working with children, having also worked as a therapist in Applied Behavioural Analysis for children with autism.

Kate is able to draw on both her research background as well as her practical experience in her role at MultiLit as School Partnerships Manager. In this role, Kate provides oversight to MultiLit’s Literacy Centre partnerships currently operating within schools across Australia. Kate also remains involved in various Product Development and research projects, and continues to provide support as a trainer for Professional Development workshops.
