MultiLit Tester – Sydney

About the position

MultiLit publishes a range of remedial literacy products which are based on research. Testers will undertake standardised and curriculum-based assessments with students who have been referred to, or are participating in, MultiLit programs including outreach and research programs.

The position is based in Macquarie Park, Sydney with testing in schools in the greater Sydney area.

Training is compulsory and will be provided by MultiLit.

Specific accountabilities

The specific medium term accountabilities of the position include:

  1. Conducting standardised and curriculum-based assessments as directed by the MultiLit Directors and Manager of the MultiLit Research Unit
  2. Preparing assessment protocols
  3. Marking and checking assessment protocols
  4. Computer entry/checking of assessment data if required

Skills Required

MultiLit is an Intellectual Property (IP) intensive organization and relies on the quality of its research, development and delivery as one of its key sustainable competitive advantages:

  1. A degree (or in progress) preferably in education, special education, psychology, neuropsychology or speech pathology
  2. Effective communication skills
  3. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  4. Ability to follow detailed instructions
  5. Ability to receive and act on feedback on performance
  6. Ability to work in a confidential environment
  7. Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a car
  8. Current NSW Working With Children Check (visit the website)
  9. Experience working with children/students is desirable
