A leader in her field, Jill co-developed and launched Sydney’s first not for profit, early intervention service focused on implementing the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) embedded within a family focused model. This program broke the mould by imbedding ABA into a transdisciplinary model and thereby making the science more accessible to families and educational institutes. Jill also has run her own private practice in Sydney’s inner west.
Jill is an experienced and dynamic presenter who is often
invited to orchestrate workshops and presentations throughout Sydney, regional
NSW and abroad. Jill is highly skilled in implementing functional
behaviour assessments, functional communication training and curriculum
modification. Jill uses her years of
experience in supervision and mentoring to develop a successful and unique
coaching model that provides school wide consultation in positive behaviour
support that builds the capacity of teachers.
Jill’s is not new to MultiLit – in 2008 Jill partnered with MultiLit to launch the Reading Tutor Program to a school for underprivileged children in Bangalore, India. There she trained international and local volunteers to implement the program with at-risk students. Jill joined MultiLit in early 2020 and is currently involved in MultiLit’s Positive Teaching and Learning Initiative. This program sets the platform to develop products for teachers and schools that bridge the gap between research and practice with a goal to bring evidence-based and practical strategies into the classroom.
With a genuine ambition to educate, help and support
families and professionals, Jill is keen to share her knowledge and enthusiasm
to help children reach their full potential.
