Lessons 32-34 cover the letter sound-correspondences: ou/ow, soft ‘c’, soft ‘g’. They also introduce students to reading open-syllable two-syllable words. Lessons 35-37 introduce the prefixes (un, con, dis) and the suffixes (less, ness). They also cover the rule for changing ‘y’ to ‘i’ when adding suffixes to words. Each set of lessons is accompanied by a revision lesson and a Cumulative Review lesson.
