Dr Jennifer Buckingham was quoted in the Sydney Morning Herald, Thursday 24 August, in the article “Inside the Sydney school exceeding expectations in NAPLAN”.
The Director of Strategy at literacy company MultiLit, Dr Jennifer Buckingham, said parents of those children should use the results as a starting point for further investigation into exactly what has gone wrong in their children’s learning.
“NAPLAN is the start of a conversation; if further assessment shows there isn’t a problem, that’s fine, but it really does deserve further investigation,” she said.
