Dr Robyn Wheldall
Director, BA, PHD (Special Education), MAICD
Robyn is Deputy Director MultiLit Research Unit, Honorary Fellow of Macquarie University, and Director of MultiLit Pty Ltd.
Robyn has expertise in researching reading interventions and has worked in the areas of learning difficulties, special education, behaviour management and literacy instruction and interventions for struggling readers for more than 30 years. She was the Research and Development Manager at Macquarie University Special Education Centre (MUSEC) during the formative years of MultiLit, and is a founding director of MultiLit Pty Ltd. She has also been the Deputy Director of the MRU since its inception in 2006. She has numerous research publications and extensive project management experience in establishing intensive literacy interventions in school, clinical and community settings.
Robyn is currently President of the Council of Learning Difficulties Australia, is a founding director of the Institute of Special Educators (InSpEd), is on the Industry Advisory Board of the Graduate School of Speech Pathology at UTS, a University Associate of Curtin University, is the co-editor of Nomanis and is an Honorary Research Fellow of Macquarie University from whom she has received a Community Outreach Award for her MultiLit work.
