Martin and Pratt Nonword Reading Test (MultiLit Revised Edition) Kit

The Martin and Pratt Nonword Reading Test, created by Frances Martin and Chris Pratt, has been used frequently in both research and classroom settings since its publication as an index of nonword reading ability. Administration of the Martin and Pratt takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes, with items covering the range of phonemes necessary for reading, increasing in difficulty as the test progresses. The MultiLit Revised Edition of the test now incorporates updated Australian norms for students aged 6 to 12 years, as well as a simplified record form, inclusion of a quick reference guide for administration, prompting, discontinuation, transcription and scoring. The original version of the Martin and Pratt Manual, which includes technical information about the development, standardisation and reliability of the test, is available from the MultiLit Members' Area for purchasers of the assessment, together with an audio pronunciation guide. The Kit comes with a Manual, Presentation Booklet, and a pad of 30 Record Forms. The Martin and Pratt has been designed for use by teachers, special educators, psychologists and speech pathologists.
