The Word Attack Skills – Extension Kit builds on the Word Attack Skills component of the Reading Tutor Program (RTP). The Extension Kit provides a set of further Word Attack Skills lesson materials to support struggling readers from Year 4 up to adults on a one-to-one basis. The lessons involve intensive, systematic and explicit instruction in reading more complex letter combinations and multi-syllable words.
The Kit includes a Word Attack Skills – Extension Manual, a Word Attack Skills – Extension Recording Booklet (additional booklets can be purchased), Presentation Cards and a Reinforced Reading Booklet and USB.
The Word Attack Skills – Extension program is available for purchase by schools only, and can only be used for non-commercial purposes.
