These lessons review letter-sound correspondences for the long vowel sounds (ai, ay, ee, ea, oa, ow, igh, _y, ue, ew) and then work on the split digraph spelling choice for each of these sounds. Instruction also covers the rule for adding the suffix ‘ing’ to verbs ending in ‘e’. Several tricky word spellings are included with each lesson.
